Here is a fun fact that I learned while writing this comic: The Milky Way really should have been carrying PEZ candy. It was invented in Austria in 1927, and became totally trendy in North America shortly afterwards. Of course, it would have almost definitely been peppermint flavored at the time, which is kind of gross if you ask me.
Other PEZ flavors that I am really happy got the heave ho: Coffee (it sounds intriguing, but ultimately unsatisfying), flower (WHAT FLOWER?!) and yogurt (maybe it could be good? Oh, who am I kidding it sounds like a crime against nature).
On the other hand, I sort of wish PEZ had just gone mental with its flavor choices, because that turned out to be really magical in the case of the Kit Kat.
