Good news and bad news!
First, the good news. We finally get to see our be-a-background-character contest winners in this comic! Except they are kind of foreground characters, but still. Congratulations Jessie and Jules! They’ll be hanging out in Maude’s Bakery for a while waiting for a glimpse of Reginald.
The bad news is Mercedes went home! I tried to trick her into staying by going to Ocean Beach right before I took her to the airport but it didn’t work. That crafty Canadian! Always one step ahead of me!
Oh, wait! Here’s some other good news:
-TODAY IS MY GRANDPA’S 91ST BIRTHDAY!!! I don’t think he really uses the internet but HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA anyway!
-Mercedes and I got some work done on an Alleged Whiskey mini comic we are going to be offering. It’s a Western side story about the kids. The first page is totally finished, the second page is written, and the rest is in the works. We’ll keep you guys updated! If it goes well, we will most likely be making more mini stories in the future. Yay!

I went out to Palm Springs for my Grandpa’s birthday. He wanted to see Ted in theaters for the second time. My aunt said it was pretty vulgar, and he just laughed and said it was vulgar in a funny way.

I’m pretty excited for it! It’s got a different look than the main comic since I’m doing it entirely in ink on bristol paper. It’s a fun change.
